If you don’t try Hawaii snorkeling you’ll miss half the fun!
Did you know that some of the best views in Hawaii are actually under the sea? Hawaii snorkeling is an easy and inexpensive way to enjoy the amazing colorful fish! I have seen coral reef fish while snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Keys, St. Lucia, Grenada, and Cozumel—all wonderful snorkeling spots but Hawaii is my absolute favorite.
The Kona and Kohala coasts of the Big Island boast calm waters year-round making a great home for some spectacular marine life. You can swim with a large variety of fish, Honu (Hawaiian sea turtles),
wild dolphins
or see a manta ray glide by. How cool is that!

Maui is a popular island for snorkeling. There are a number of beaches that are great for lounging as well as snorkeling. Molokini crater requires a boat to access but is well worth the trip for crystal clear waters and an amazing number of fish.

The good new is, the first time I caught a glimpse of those beautiful fish I forgot that I had turned into Darth Vader and was hooked on snorkeling for life!
