• If you are a member of AAA motor club or Costco, you may qualify for a discount car rental
• Use an Entertainment Book. We buy one annually as part of a local school fund raiser. The book is $20 and the total savings in the book is easily ten times that. There are savings on car rentals, hotels, and restaurants.
  
• Drop off your Hawaii rental car at the same place you picked it up. If you pick up your rental car in one airport and drop off at the other, there will be a $50-100 charge. But that said you have to balance the cost of gas and inconvenience with the extra drop off fee.
